Hewlett agent garners grant for charity

Hewlett Allstate agency owner Alan Aronson received the Agency Helping Hands in the Community Award for his volunteer work with the United Way of Long Island. Due to that endeavor, the Allstate Foundation gave that organization a $1,000 grant.

“This organization truly makes a difference in the Hewlett community,” Aronson said. “These grant funds will help these incorporations continue to improve the lives of many people in the surrounding area. I am inspired by the work that they have accomplished and I am proud to be a part of their efforts.”

Established in 1952, the Allstate Foundation awards more than $1 million every year to nonprofit organizations across the country in honor of dedicated Allstate agency owners who give back. To be eligible for nomination, Allstate agency owners must volunteer with, mentor or lead a nonprofit of their choice.
