Lynbrook Mayor Alan Beach and Trustee Robert Boccio were up for re-election on March 20 and ran unopposed. Beach took over as mayor in October, after the sudden death of William Hendrick. He appointed Boccio as a trustee in December after designating Trustee Hilary Becker deputy mayor. According to Village Clerk John Giordano, Beach and Boccio each received 313 votes, and there were four write-ins for each position. Beach and Boccio’s terms will be up next March, when they will have to run for re-election again, this time for full terms.
