A Baldwin man has been charged with stealing credit cards and prescription pills from two separate cars within the hamlet, Nassau County police said Thursday morning.

The NCPD states David Webster, of Seaman Avenue, was arrested July 4 at 6:50 a.m. and charged with three counts of fourth-degree grand larceny, petit larceny, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and third-degree identity theft. He scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday morning at First District Court in Hempstead, police said.

Webster allegedly stole a wallet from a car on Clifford Court July 3 and used the credit cards inside at “various locations,” according to authorities. He was arrested following an investigation and allegedly found carrying stolen prescription pills and currency that were taken from another car on Allen Place.
