Long Beach firefighters pulled three people, including a child, from a sport utility vehicle that overturned on Park Avenue Thursday.

On Facebook, fire officials said the incident occurred at 4:54 p.m. at the intersection of East Park Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard, where firefighters responded to a report of an overturned/motor vehicle collision.

"Upon arrival of Fire Department units, three occupants were found to be trapped inside the vehicle which had flipped over and landed back on its wheels," the department said. "Two adults and one child were extricated from the vehicle with various injuries from the collision."

All were transported to South Nassau Communities Hospital with minor injuries and were treated and released, fire officials said.

The Point Lookout-Lido Fire Department also responded, and assisted in treating and transporting one victim.

All fire department operations were under the command of Chief Joseph Miller.
