Mostly Cloudy Long Beach fireworks a go
Pyrotechnics show is on after rainy weather

Though Friday's heavy downpour threatened to cancel the city’s annual Fireworks Extravaganza, the show will go on.
Residents and visitors are welcome to enjoy a beach concert featuring the Gloria Estefan Tribute Show between Long Beach Boulevard and Riverside Boulevard at 8 p.m.
Bay Fireworks will set off its colorful pyrotechnics from a barge off the Long Beach shoreline at about 9 p.m. The show will be visible along the boardwalk and beaches.
The festivities began Friday at 3 p.m. when more than 200 arts and crafts vendors lined the boardwalk along with food vendors to kick off the annual Boardwalk Arts and Crafts Festival. The festival runs from Saturday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
