Malverne native lands internship with 1-800-FLOWERS.COM Inc.

Malverne native and York College student Rozelyn Johnson has been selected to take in the 1-800-FLOWERS.COM Inc. internship program this summer at its headquarters in Carle Place.

Throughout the 10-week program, a total of 40 interns work closely with teams across the business, including information technology, engineering, finance, marketing, social media, inventory planning, vendor relations and much more.

As part of this dynamic program, interns take part in a variety of engaging activities including weekly “lunch and learn” sessions hosted by teams and executives across the company, as well as skill-building workshops. Interns are also encouraged to develop and share ideas that will enhance the business — and will have the opportunity to present their ideas to company leadership at the end of the summer. These interns, including Johnson, are bringing new thinking and fresh energy into the 1-800-FLOWERS.COM Inc. office.
