Known and respected regionally for years, Molloy College is now getting national recognition for their academic achievement and affordability from Collegevaluesonline.com, a college rankings website. Molloy was ranked the 10th best value in the country of the 238 Catholic colleges in the United States.

The private Catholic college, established in 1955, finds itself in good company on the “Best Value Roman Catholic Universities 2017-2018” list. Leading the pack is the likes of the University of Notre Dame, followed by Santa Clara University and Georgetown.

“We were very excited to get this honor for a couple of reasons,” said Ken Young, assistant vice president of marketing and public relations at Molloy. “Firstly, we are the only Long Island or Queens school to get that honor.” Manhattan College was the only other New York school listed in the top ten.

Molloy has been ranked highly by The Princeton Review and U.S. News & World Report in recent years as well. It is often among the top schools in the tri-state area regarding the salaries of their graduates, and is a mainstay atop rankings of colleges offering degrees in health care.
