Multi chambers network at Crossroads Farm

Five area chambers of commerce came together at Crossroads Farm at Grossmann’s last week for the West Hempstead Chamber of Commerce’s 4th annual multi-chamber event.

“We had the West Hempstead, Franklin Square, Elmont, Hempstead and Malverne chambers of commerce there,” said Patti Locurcio, the West Hempstead chamber’s secretary. About 120 people attended the event, which was held in one of the farm’s hoop houses.

Surrounded by nature, attendees enjoyed a buffet-style dinner that was donated by chamber members, lots of networking and free wine and beer tastings. There was also a 50/50 raffle, which resulted in a $300 donation to the farm.

Politicians in attendance included state Sen. Todd Kaminsky, Nassau County Legislator Carrie Solanges and Town Councilman, Ed Ambrosino, who was in court the day prior for a status conference following his arrest for tax evasion and wire fraud in March.
