Children at Willow Road School performed a scene from “Mary Poppins” in the PTA fundraising production of “Broadway Comes to Willow,” which also featured bits from “The Wizard of Oz” and “Annie.”

Students at Willow Road School performed scenes from a trio of popular plays in the March 25 production of “Broadway Comes to Willow.” More than 90 children in grades 4-6 at the District 13 elementary school participated.
The children told tales from “Annie,” “The Wizard of Oz” and “Mary Poppins.” The play was a PTA fundraiser and 465 seats were sold for the afternoon and evening performances.
Principal Stephanie Capozzoli said 25 teachers and staff members gave their own time to help prepare for the play.
