A Huntington Station man was arrested on March 15 for stalking children in Westbury, Nassau County Police said.

According to reports, three girls, ages 15, 14, and 11, told their 39-year-old father that a man in a 2007 Toyota followed them and their 13-year-old brother walking home from school on March 6 and March 5. The children said that the man followed them near Cross Street and Linden Avenue, and tried to talk them into getting in the car.

The father then saw William Renderos-Flores, 22, of 110 W. Pulaski Road, following his children on March 8 and took a photograph of Renderos-Flores’ car before he sped off.

Renderos-Flores was arrested at his home and charged with two counts of stalking in the second degree, four counts of stalking in the third degree, four counts of endangering the welfare of a child and four counts of stalking in the fourth degree. He was arraigned in First District Court on March 16.
