Sean Daly, 49, of North Valley Stream, was arrested on Oct. 26 at 7:55 p.m. for driving while impaired with a child in his car, according to Nassau County police.

Officers noticed Daly sitting in the driver’s seat of a stopped 2018 Nissan pick-up truck at the corner of South Terrace Place and West Merrick Road in Valley Stream.

As the officers approached, they saw that the vehicle was running with two other passengers: a 40-year-old woman and a 7-year-old girl.

Police said Daly was unresponsive to verbal communication and touch, so officers administered three doses of Narcan before transporting him to a local area hospital, where he was treated and later released. No other injuries were reported.

Daly was charged with driving while under the influence and two counts of aggravated unlicensed operation.
