Every year festival organizers strive to bring in new things to excite everyone. This year, the festival will feature:

- Kids Expo, featuring child-friendly rides and a chance to visit Rex the Dinosaur

- Craft Expo

- Military Expo, featuring the latest attractions from all branches of the military

- Veterans organizations and service groups

- Sports Expo, with representation from local and tri-state sports organizations

- Health and Wellness members and flu shots

- Home Improvement Expo, showcasing local contractors and members

- Live music all day throughout the fair

The Chamber is very proud of the Bellmore Family Street Festival and the family values it conveys. This year’s festival will take place on Sept. 16 and 17, with the carnival starting Sept. 14 and running continuously all weekend.

This fabulous family festival gives the Chamber and its members a chance to say “Thank you” to the community for shopping and doing business locally. The festival affords the more than 250 members of this organization not only a chance to “show their stuff,” but to give something back to the community in the form of entertainment, information and good old-fashioned family-oriented fun. The festival is also an excellent opportunity for our local nonprofit groups to raise funds and share important information.

The local businesses are the important backbone that supports our community, its schools, services and taxes. Local businesses have always been there when asked to contribute to and support our local teams, students, nonprofits and scouts. In return, they deeply appreciate your support and customer loyalty.

The festival features a wide variety of exhibits and attractions that have earned it the reputation as Nassau County’s largest family-oriented event of its kind, drawing more than 120,000 visitors. The Chamber Board of Directors and festival dream team have put an enormous amount of time and effort to bring this festival to you and invite you to come and enjoy yourself. Should you have any questions, please call our festival hotline at (516) 809-5892, or visit us online at www.bellmorechamber.com.

The festival begins on Thursday evening, Sept. 14, with the opening of our fantastic carnival. The carnival continues on Friday evening, Sept. 15, with live entertainment on the Pettit Avenue show mobile. The festival continues Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 16 and 17, with all the vendors.
