More than 150 Seaford Harbor Elementary School families participated in the school’s second annual STEAM night on April 26, participating in science, technology, engineering, arts and math activities in classrooms as well as the school’s all-purpose room and gymnasium.

Volunteers from the Seaford Middle School National Junior Honor Society and Student Council, as well as sophomores, science research, and American Sign Language students from Seaford High School led various stations at the event. Eighth-graders in the middle school’s robotics course and students from the high school robotics club also gave the elementary school students a closer look at the robots they made during the school year.

“It was a night filled with activities that both parents and their children could enjoy,” said Caroline Schozer, assistant principal of Harbor Elementary. “What better way is there to learn than through fun, hands-on activities that families can do together?”
