Seaford welcomes three new businesses

Bayview Street is open for business.

The owners of three shops on the Seaford Harbor street held grand opening ceremonies on May 19. Chamber of Commerce and elected leaders welcomed the Bayview Tavern, Maggie’s Kitchens & Bath and Tumminello Plumbing & Heating to the community. 

President Karen Cass and other chamber members congratulated the each business’s owner for setting up shop before the traditional ribbon-cutting service. State Sen. John Brooks, Nassau County Legislator Steve Rhoads and Hempstead Town Councilwoman Erin King Sweeney were also on hand, offering the entrepreneurs citations. 

The Bayview Tavern, owned by Amy Breidenbach, is a restaurant and bar that offers late-night plates, happy hour specials and bottomless brunch. Catering services for on and off-site locations and private parties are also available. 

Tumminello Plumbing & Heating, launched by Michael Tumminello, is a repair and installation company and offers certified specialists to fix various heating and plumbing problems.

Maggie Gahn, of Maggie’s Kitchens & Baths, offers supplies and designs for different cabinetry and countertops for kitchens and bathrooms at her shop.
