--March for Our Lives

Long Beach will host a sister march in solidarity with March for Our Lives on March 24 in Kennedy Plaza to support the nationwide student movement for stricter gun-control legislation. Organized by Board of Education trustee Darlene Tangney, former Councilwoman Fran Adelson and LBHS junior class President Fiona Eramo, the march will take place from 2 to 4 p.m.

--Annual Folk-2-Funk Music Festival Part II

--Women in the Arts Party

In honor of Women’s History Month, Artists In Partnership will recognize the achievements and contributions of a group of local women at the 2nd annual “Women in the Arts” awards party, fashion show and artist pop-up at the Allegria Hotel, located at 80 W. --Spring forth with some Musical Cuisine

Old Westbury Gardens Charles II style mansion is the setting for a concert of chamber masterworks in the grandeur of Westbury House’s Red Ballroom, Sunday March 25, at 2 p.m., followed by brunch. The Chamber Players International ensemble’s “Musical Cuisine” concert features Franck’s Sonata for Violin and Piano as well as Dvorak’s “Dumky” Trio for Violin, Cello and Piano.
