Law and Order Day
On Sunday, April 23 at 3 p.m. American Legion Post 1282, 160 Merrick Road, are having their annual Law and Order Day Ceremony for 2017. In this event they will be honoring outstanding individuals who have served their community during the past year (2016) from the First and Seventh Police Precincts, the MTA/LIRR Police Department, the New York State Police Department, the Merrick and North Merrick Fire Departments and the Bellmore/Merrick EMS Department.

Chess Nite
Come play Chess at the Bellmore Memorial Library on Monday evenings. This program is for adults only. We will have a small supply of chess sets available, but please feel free to bring your own. Space is limited and registration is required. April 24, and May 1, 8, 15 and 22.
