Join Dr. Peter Luecken for a discussion on reducing pain and injuries at the Malverne Public Library on Monday, May 14, from 7 to 8 p.m. During this informative lecture, Luecken, from Broadway Medical, P.C., in Lynbrook, will share tips on protecting yourself when performing daily activities such as lifting objects, making the bed, vacuuming, gardening, sitting and so on … all without pain medication. Art explorations at Hofstra’s museum
Set out with the kids on an “Artful Adventure,” on Saturday, May 12, at 11:30 a.m., at Hofstra’s museum. The program concludes for the season with this month’s session. Museum educators will lead participants (ages 5-10) in a discussion about art and then guide visitors in a hands-on art project. From Princeton to Paradise: A literary conversations
A Celebrity Lecture by Charles Scribner III $30 Members, $40 Non-Members.
