Nassau County police have arrested a second woman for a May burglary and assault on a woman in Bellmore.

According to detectives, Kathryn Johnson, 25, of Franklin Square, and Amanda Campos, 26, of Lynbrook, went to Johnson’s ex-boyfriend’s house on May 24, entered without permission and attacked a 23-year-old woman who was with the ex-boyfriend.

Johnson and Campos dragged the victim to the front porch and continued to hit her, then fled on foot, police said. The victim suffered facial and hand injuries.

Police arrested Johnson two days later without incident and charged her with first-degree burglary and third-degree assault.

Campos was arrested on Wednesday at 10:45 p.m. without incident. She faces the same charges.
