Qello Concerts, pronounced kwel-lo, a concert and music documentary streaming service, is now available for free to Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library cardholders. The service, which normally costs $7.99 per month or $69.99 per year, offers more than 1,700 live performances and documentaries.

“We’re bringing a new level of service to the community with Qello,” William Ferro, the library’s director, said. “It’s one thing to listen to a concert recording, but seeing a performance as if you had the best seat in the house makes the experience even better.”

Users can create their own set lists as well as play individual songs from various time periods. The service features videos from the 1920s to now that can be streamed from Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, AmazonFire TV, Sony and mobile devices with an internet connection.
