Valley Stream hockey league gets an identity
After a long layoff, hockey is making its way back to Valley Stream in less than two months. Jeff Kotcher, a 23-year-old Valley Stream resident, has officially founded the Valley Stream Roller Hockey League and plans to get the first season underway in late May. more

The Village of Valley Stream is currently in negotiations to bring an adult hockey league to its rink, which may also be used for tee ball games.
Valley Stream seeks new life for hockey rink
The National Hockey League began its season two weeks ago, which was better late than never for its fan base after a long work stoppage. Hockey may be returning to Valley Stream as well, as the village is in negotiations to bring an adult roller hockey league to its currently dormant rink. more
