3 sought in knifepoint robbery

An 18-year-old man was robbed on Jedwood Place on July 2 by three suspects, one of whom had a knife.

The victim was walking southbound when the suspects approached him from behind at 9:20 p.m., police said. One of them displayed a knife and told the victim to empty his pockets. They took an undisclosed amount of cash, a wallet and a cell phone and fled north on Jedwood Place. No injuries were reported.

All the suspects were male, police said. The one armed with the knife was described as 16 years old, black, 5-foot-10 with a thin build and wearing a white t-shirt. The second suspect was described as black and 5-foot-10. No description of the third suspect was given.
