The Quint Quintet
Renowned classical violinist Philippe Quint and his Quint Quintet bring the spirit of Argentine music to the Madison Theatre, with “A Night of Tango.” The diverse composite of virtuoso players, led by Quint, explores and promotes the works of composer Astor Piazzolla and Argentine tango. The ensemble, which includes bandoneonist JP Jofre, double bassist Pedro Giraudo, electric guitarist Claudio Ragazzi and pianist Octavio Brunetti, is currently at work on their first album. Quint, a multi-faceted musican, who has performed with major orchestras world-wide has mesmerized audiences with his interpretation of tango music.

Observe some of our feathered friends who make Long Island their home during the winter on a guided hike through Muttontown Preserve. Enjoy the season’s beauty on a two-hour nature walk where you’ll have an opportunity to observe such cold weather birds as woodpeckers, hawks, Nuthatches, and Brown Creepers.
