Bear Cubs Brian Remsen and Warren Pershad, along with Den leader Pete Remsen and Cubmaster Bill Colgan, were awarded their rank advancements.

Four Cub Scouts from Valley Stream Pack 109 crossed over to Boy Scouts last Sunday at the annual Blue and Gold dinner at Grace Methodist School. The boys, Webelos Kegan Bouhouj, Robert Deckel, James Hardie and Maximus Schultz, received their Arrow of Light awards, the highest honor in Cub Scouts. Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray and village Trustee Virginia Clavin-Higgins shared in the momentous occasion.

The Pack’s Tiger, Wolf and Bear scouts also earned their rank advancements during the March 10 ceremony.
