An Elmont couple was arrested on Nov. 12 for allegedly selling heroin between Sept. 24 and Oct. 2, with four of the transactions occurring in Valley Stream, two of them done with the couple’s 3-year-old son present, according to the Nassau County Police Department.

Eric Boesenberg, 52, and Giovanna Panza, 38, were arrested by detectives at their Terrace Avenue home in Elmont. Police said Boesenberg sold heroin on four different days on Cedar Street in Valley Stream — two of those times while he held his young son in his arms.

Panza allegedly sold crack cocaine in front of their residence on Sept. 30. When police made the arrests, they reported finding heroin and Suboxone, a prescription medication used to treat opiate addiction, in Boesenberg’s possession.

Boesenberg was charged with four counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of unlawful dealing with a child. Panza was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. They will be arraigned on Thursday, Nov. 11 in First District Court in Hempstead.
