Fair Man dies after shooting outside Valley Stream bar

Nassau County police responded to a call reporting that a man was shot outside Sonny O's Pub early Monday morning.
Upon arrival they located the victim outside the pub, at 269 West Merrick Road, at about 4:05 a.m., and he was then transported to Long Island Jewish Valley Stream where he was pronounced dead at 5:10 a.m. by hospital staff.
Police said the investigation would continue. Detectives ask anyone with information about this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at (800) 244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
