No injuries in North Valley Stream shooting

Nassau County Police are seeking two men responsible for an attempted shooting in North Valley Stream on Wednesday afternoon. No one was seriously injured.

According to detectives from the Fourth Squad, a 28-year-old man was at his Charles Street home, in the Alden Terrace neighborhood, when two men began banging on his door. The resident went outside and approached the two suspects. One of the men punched the victim in the face, while the other pulled out a handgun and fired a shot at him as he ran back into his home. The suspects then fled in a dark blue BMW being driven by a third man.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 5-foot-7, 160 pounds wearing a a black and red hooded sweatshirt. The second suspect is described as black male in his 20s, 5-foot-9 with a medium build wearing a red hooded sweatshirt
