One hurt in Valley Stream motorcycle crash

One person was taken to the hospital after a motorcycle crash that occurred on West Merrick Road near King Kullen in Valley Stream shortly before 1 p.m. on Oct. 14, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
The Valley Stream Fire Department and the Nassau County Police Department Ambulance Bureau responded to the crash, which didn’t involve any other vehicles. The victim was transported to South Nassau Hospital.
Police did not say what caused the crash, which is still under investigation.
