Anyone who knows Gabe is very impressed with the knowledge that he has on the early days of aviation on Long Island, especially right here in Valley Stream. He would be the first to invite you to the Pagan-Fletcher Restoration, which is on the list of National Historic Places. There you can see “old” Valley Stream, its famous Curtiss Airport and traces of the Native American Indians who were here first.

This Sunday, Gabe will reprise his role as Abraham Lincoln for the Historical Society’s annual “George and Abe are Back” President’s Day celebration from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Pagan-Fletcher house.

Group and family reservations can be made anytime to the tour the Pagan-Fletcher Restoration, or come down on Sundays between 1 and 4 p.m. Tours are free.
