V.S. teen charged with prostitution

Nassau County Police detectives reported the arrest of an 18-year-old Valley Stream woman on November 29 in Bethpage.

According to police, the woman offered to engage in a sexual act with an undercover detective in exchange for money when the pair met at a Bethpage hotel. She was arrested without incident.

The woman was charged with prostitution and released on an appearance ticket. She will be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead.
