A North High School student was recognized as one of the “best of the best” in the region by the Long Island Arts Alliance last month.
Senior Zi Jun Guo was given the LIAA’s Award of Merit for excellence in academics and the arts at a ceremony at Half Hollow Hills High School East in September. She was one of 20 students to receive the award.
Guo will be recognized again this spring at the LIAA’s annual gala at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts. Awards of Merit are presented as part of the LIAA’s Scholar-Artist Awards program.
