Valley Stream man arrested for stalking, videotaping woman

A Valley Stream man was arrested on Monday in connection with an incident that occurred on May 9 in Garden City, according to Nassau County police.

Renaldy Jeannot, 25, of Waldinger Street, followed a 31-year-old woman from Brooklyn to 100 Garden City Plaza and “repeatedly used his Iphone to take videos under her skirt,” police said. The victim eventually noticed what Jeannot was doing and wrote down his car registration information. She then called police.

Garden City Police detectives arrested Jeannot on Waldinger Street. His cell phone was recovered and the videos of the victim were recovered. He was charged with stalking and second-degree unlawful surveillance. He was arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Tuesday.
