Hewlett man arrested for public lewdness

Incidents occurred in Cedarhurst and Valley Stream between last year and this May

A Hewlett man was arrested for allegedly exposing himself, while in his car, to seven women in four separate incidents stretching from July of last year to May 31, Nassau County Fifth Squad detectives said.

Marat Blustin, 45, of Huntley Place, allegedly intentionally exposed himself to three women on July 7, 2018, on N. Central Avenue in, Valley Stream, according to police. On April 30, on Willow Avenue in Cedarhurst, he exposed himself to one woman, police said.

Then on May 23, on W. Jamaica Avenue in Valley Stream, he allegedly exposed himself to two women, and eight days later on S. Central Avenue in Valley Stream, exposed himself to one woman, police said.


A subsequent investigation by detectives led them to Blustin, and he was arrested. He is charged with three counts of public lewdness first-degree and four counts of public lewdness. Blustin will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on June 19.
