Three Valley Stream men arrested for murder of 20-year-old

Updated April 19 at 10:27 p.m. - Three men from Valley Stream have been arrested and charged with murder following 20-year-old Pharoh Boone’s death on April 3.

Gil Iphael, 18, and Joshua Desrosiers, 21, were arrested on April 17 and Michael Durham, 20, was arrested on April 18. They are all from Valley Stream and were charged with second-degree murder.

Iphael and Desrosiers were arraigned on April 18 at the First District Court in Hempstead. Durham is scheduled to be arraigned on April 19 at the First District Court in Hempstead.

Boone, a Central High School graduate, was transported to Long Island Jewish Valley Stream on April 3 for a gunshot wound to his back. Medical staff at the hospital called the police to report the gunshot, and when they arrived, Boone led them to investigate 109 E. Euclid St., where there was a home invasion. Boone was pronounced dead at 10:58 p.m. that night.
