Nassau County police are seeking the public’s help in identifying three men connected to an armed robbery in West Hempstead last Friday afternoon, and released sketches of two of the men today.

At approximately 2:45 p.m. on Jan. 15th, three men arrived at a home on Wildwood Rd. in West Hempstead, saying there were there to repair the victim’s garage door. While inside the residence, one man requested use of the bathroom, and while being escorted there by the homeowner, a second man holding a handgun appeared. The second man told the victim to hand over money, jewelry and a cell phone, and placed everything in a sack. The men then fled towards the Southern State Parkway in a grayish blue, older Chevy.

The police are asking anyone who can identify the men, or with any information about this crime to call their toll-free line: 1-800-244-TIPS (8477).
