“It’s amazing what goes into a film,” said Canzoneri, who met the show’s director, Peter Berg, when he scoped out her home prior to shooting. “When you watch the end credits, you see all of these names listed, but now you see who they are.”

Resnick said he hoped the experience was mutually beneficial, so that the show’s crew and Malverne residents may continue their working relationship in the future. “I hope that we get great scenes for our show, and I hope we deepen our relationship with the village,” he said. “I know that we want to leave here with a great feeling about Malverne, and that Malverne wants to be left with a great feeling about us, so we know we can be welcomed back.”
