Oceanside resident Pierina Carbone, who co-owned Pat’s Prime Meats in Malverne for more than 50 years, died on Jan. 2.

“She was a great lady, she always played by the book,” Yako said. She was a woman of faith, honesty and great values. She was untiring — a woman that did it all.”
