Davison Avenue students in Malverne learn about conservation

Posted

Third- and fourth-grade students at Davison Avenue Intermediate School in the Malverne Union Free School District recently attended a special assembly called “The Conservation Caper.”
Presented by The National Theatre for Children and sponsored by Long Island’s local PSEG, the free program reinforced what energy is, how it works and how it’s used. The presenters, Maddie Ripperger and Jakob Gomez, used a series of comedic and education sketches to learn about how to save energy. In addition, students were encouraged to take part in the program to discuss the important topic of energy conservation.
