Nassau County police said a woman’s body was found at Milburn Pond in Baldwin on Sunday morning.

Officers responded to reports of a body in the water at 7:50 a.m., where the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death was not immediately known, and several roads in the area were closed during the investigation.
