Police seek two allged Baldwin burglars

Two men allegedly entered and stole money, clothing and other valuables from a Baldwin home early in the morning on March 20.

Nassau police said the men entered an unoccupied home on Anderson Street through an unlocked door in the back of the house and removed a safe containing an undetermined amount of money, and a duffle bag filled with miscellaneous items and clothing, before leaving. They headed south on Essex Court in a light-colored sport utility vehicle, police added.

One man is described as black with a heavy build. They said he wore black clothing, red sneakers, a black hat and a black facemask. Another man is described as white with a medium build. Police said he wore a black hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, black sneakers and a black facemask.
