East Meadow farm to host family fun day

Stop by the East Meadow Farm on Merrick Avenue on Sept. 23 for a Family Fun Day, featuring lots of activities for people to enjoy.

The East Meadow Farm, run by the Cornell Cooperative Extension, will be hosting its Family Fun Day on Saturday, Sept. 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The day will feature a community barbecue, pumpkin painting, a petting zoo, outside vendors, flower crown making, vegetable picking and the 4H Farm Stand. There will also be children’s crafts and games, a student art exhibit, music, food, demonstrations in the garden and more.
Admission for families is $10.
