Richie Krug Jr., left and EMHS senior Brian Surless were all smiles on June 8.
The East Meadow Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Program was established to recognize students in the community who demonstrate character and citizenship.
On June 8, East Meadow High School seniors Brian Surless and Christopher Ignatiou and W.T. Clarke High School seniors Brooke and Ella Noonan and Victoria Buffolino were awarded their 1,000 dollar scholarships from the Chamber at Pietro’s Pizzeria in East Meadow.
Family, chamber members and politicians were there to congratulate the seniors on their accomplishments.
