Crime watch: Lynbrook, East Rockaway

Following a Lynbrook police investigation, a 39-year-old Plainview man — who works for Lynbrook Volkswagen on Sunrise Highway — was arrested on May 10 at 9:30 p.m. and charged with two counts of grand larceny after detectives found more than $5,000 in missing funds.

A 29-year-old Franklin Square man was arrested on May 20 at 6:47 p.m. and charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance — which included heroin — on Langdon Place.

At 3:10 p.m. on May 21, a 30-year-old Elmont man was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operator, failure to obey a traffic control device and a seat belt violation on Sunrise Highway.

On May 21 at 5:46 p.m., a 23-year-old man from Laurelton, Queens was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm and criminal possession of marijuana in public on Sunrise Highway.

A 35-year-old Uniondale resident was arrested on May 22 at 6:15 p.m. and charged with three counts of aggravated unlicensed operator and speeding on Peninsula Boulevard.

A 29-year-old from St. Albans, Queens was arrested on May 27 at 1:30 a.m. and charged with three counts of aggravated unlicensed operator, no stop lamps and production of a false insurance card on Merrick Road.

On May 27 at 2:36 a.m., a 30-year-old from Farmingdale was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain a lane on Sunrise Highway.

A 26-year-old resident of Middle Village, Queens, was arrested on May 30 at 9:20 p.m. and charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and an open warrant on Sunrise Highway.

On June 3 at 1:05 a.m., a 51-year-old resident of Richmond Hill, Queens was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, unlicensed operator and a passed red light on Sunrise Highway.
