The Lynbrook Kiwanis Club raised $2,000 for The Mended Little Hearts foundation on April 3.
Sue Burgher, president of the Lynbrook Kiwanis Club, gave Shannan Pearsall, lead coordinator for Mended Little Hearts of Long Island, money that was raised at the Tally Ho Fundraiser a month ago. Pearsall’s son, Aiden, had three open-heart surgeries and three cardiac cauterizations at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. He was with his mom as they both accepted the check for Mended Hearts.
