The first annual Franklin Square Fall Fair was held on Oct. 16 at Rath Park in Franklin Square between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Presented by the Franklin Square Chamber of Commerce, the fair featured games for children and food produced by Franklin Square restaurants as well a live DJ and a meet and greet session with local comic Anthony Rodia, who donated to the chamber, which raffled tickets to a Westbury show of his to community members.
“We had such a successful event because of our Committee of five and a Wonderful Community Spirit, which is what Franklin Square is all about,” the chamber said in a statement posted to Facebook by the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce.
