A woman and three men sought in alleged Inwood assault

Nassau County police are looking for three men and a woman who allegedly assaulted a man, 27, in Inwood at 1 a.m. on Aug. 11.

The man was walking near the intersection of Doughty Boulevard and Redfern that Tuesday, when the men and woman approached him, police said. One of the men pushed the man against a fence and held a silver knife to his neck, which resulted in a cut, according to police. The man then escaped.

He described the alleged assailants to police. All three men are black and in their 20s. The man wielding the knife is 5-11, 160 pounds with braided hair and was wearing a black T-shirt with blue jean shorts. Another is 6-feet, 175 pounds with a shaved head and was wearing  blue denim jacket and white jeans. Another is 5-10, 170 pounds, also with a shaved head and was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. The woman is black, 5-5, heavy set and was wearing dark clothing.
