Cedarhurst Exxon Bolla Market robbed

A man claiming to have weapon allegedly stole an unspecified amount of money from the Exxon Bolla Market on Rockaway Turnpike in Cedarhurst near 10:40 p.m. on March 8, according to police.

The man entered the store on the gasoline station property, approached the cashier and “motioned that he had a weapon behind his back,” police stated in a news release, and he demanded money from the register. The employee complied and the man left and headed east on West Broadway. No one was injured, police added.

Roughly 6 feet tall, the man is described as white and he was wearing a black ski mask, a gray hooded sweatshirt, black jacket, gray sweatpants and black boots.
