DRS connects with its graduates in Israel

Davis Renov Stahler Yeshiva High for Boys in Woodmere is proud of its alumni who spend a year after high school learning at yeshivas in Israel. Every year, Rabbi Yisroeal Kaminetsky, Director of Israel Guidance Rabbi Avi Weber, and DRS spiritual adviser Rabbi Aryeh Cohen visit the alumni learning in nearly 20 different yeshivas in Israel, to reconnect with them and continue to strengthen the rabbi-Talmud relationship, which school officials consider a DRS strength.

School officials said that they are filled with happiness and pride to see so many alumni mature through their yeshiva experience in the Jewish state. Kaminetsky, Weber and Cohen met with every single student and discuss their experiences to enhance future DRS students decisions on which Israel-based yeshiva to attend.

DRS is proud that 96 percent of its alumni decide to spend a year after high school learning in Israel. Cohen holds an annual Shabbat dinner for the alumni — this year hosted by Yeshivat Netiv Aryeh in Jerusalem, attended by 80 DRS graduates.
