Atlantic Beach village is hosting a beach cleanup April 24 to 30 in honor of Earth Day.

In honor of Earth Day, which is April 22, Atlantic Beach is hosting a beach cleanup week that gets under way on Saturday, April 24 from 8 to 11 a.m. with the pickup of trash bags and gloves at Village Hall, 65 The Plaza, Atlantic Beach.
From April 24 to 30, participants are free to pickup debris on the beaches at their own pace. Filled bags are to be left at the beach entrances for pickup. Photos are encouraged to be taken and posted on the “unofficial” Atlantic Beach village Facebook page.
