Mostly Cloudy Lawrence students exhibit artwork in Garden City

The Community Gallery at the Long Island Children’s Museum is exhibiting the artwork of students from the Lawrence Primary School.

Roughly 50 first, second and third grade students from the Lawrence Primary School at the Number 2 School have their work on display in the Community Gallery at the Long Island Children’s Museum in Garden City through Feb. 27.
The artwork features winter scenes and colorful abstract paintings as well as projects students made while working remotely. “Creating art is all about making connections,” Lawrence art teacher Anne Young said.
