Nassau police investigating Cedarhurst burglary

An unidentified man broke into Tamburino’s Deli at 672 Central Ave., in Cedarhurst, at 5 p.m. on Feb. 28, according to the Nassau County Police.

Police say the man pried open the cellar door located in the back of the building and stole $1,500 during after hours. The man walked on foot in an unknown direction.

The man is described as light skinned, medium build, and was seen wearing a white sweatshirt, blue jeans, white facial covering and white sneakers.
