Fair Nassau police investigating Cedarhurst burglary

A man stole $1,500 from Tamburino's Deli in Cedarhurst on Feb. 28, by prying open the cellar door, police said.

An unidentified man broke into Tamburino’s Deli at 672 Central Ave., in Cedarhurst, at 5 p.m. on Feb. 28, according to the Nassau County Police.
Police say the man pried open the cellar door located in the back of the building and stole $1,500 during after hours. The man walked on foot in an unknown direction.
The man is described as light skinned, medium build, and was seen wearing a white sweatshirt, blue jeans, white facial covering and white sneakers.
Police are asking anyone with information on the incident to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 244-8477. All calls are confidential.
